CALGARY (660 NEWS) – Another poll is showing Jason Kenney’s government is falling out of favour with many Albertans.
On Monday, Think HQ released a survey showing the approval rating for the UCP has plunged 12 per cent since mid-October.
Around 53 per cent of those asked now disapprove of the government’s performance, while 38 per cent strongly disapprove.

The survey found several factors contributed to the decline including concern for issues like quality of health care and education.
Only 39 per cent of those surveyed approve of the government when it comes to managing health care, a drop of eight per cent.
Worry about job stability was also a factor.
“This is a significant drop in support, and likely foreshadows a bumpy start in 2020 for the UCP government,” said Marc Henry with Think HQ. “Their honeymoon has been fairly short-lived, and this is driven by not meeting voters’ expectations, on economic and non-economic issues.”
Last week, Angus Reid and DART Communicators released similar polls on the approval ratings of Canada’s premiers.
The Angus Reid survey found Kenney’s approval dropped six per cent since the fall while DART revealed a 15 per cent drop since September.
