CALGARY (660 NEWS) — Alberta Health Services have opened an investigation after multiple people got sick after eating at a Calgary restaurant.
An inspection was opened at the beginning of December after those who visited Jerusalem Shawarma on 16 Avenue N.W. reported getting sick after eating at the location.
.AHS says an outbreak of norovirus is likely the reason behind why people got sick and they inspected other locations after cooked food was not held at the proper temperature.

It is also believed that some food was handled with unsanitary utensils.
No closures were needed and AHS continues to work with the restaurant to prevent further virus outbreaks.
