Stabbing outside of Sheldon Chumir under investigation

CALGARY (660 NEWS) — Police are investigating after a man was stabbed in downtown Calgary Saturday morning.

The victim, who was in his 20s, was found near the Sheldon Chumir Health Centre after police were called to 4 Street S.W. near 12 Avenue around 7 a.m.

Police have yet to identify a suspect in the incident and say they do not know what may have led to an altercation.

The victim was taken to hospital in stable condition.

Police say the ongoing investigation will not impede any access to the Sheldon Chumir Health Centre.
