Suspicious vehicle located in Saddleridge shooting

CALGARY (660 NEWS) — Calgary police have located a vehicle they believe is related to a shooting that occurred in Saddleridge over the weekend.

Around 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 4, police were called to Saddlecrest Boulevard for reports of shots fired.

Upon arrival, they found two men, one who was declared dead on scene, another who continues to recover in hospital.

On Wednesday, shortly after identifying the victim who died as 38-year-old Gurinder Pal Singh Sekhon, police were able to find and locate a black, 2018 Nissan Rogue.

Now, police are looking the trace back the movements of the car prior to the shooting.

Police are asking anyone who may have seen the vehicle near Saddlecrest Boulevard around the time of the shooting or may have seen occupants of the car filling a gas can at a gas station, to call the non-emergency line at 403-266-1234.
