Woman injured in Conrich shooting dies

CONRICH (660 NEWS) – A woman injured in a shooting east of Calgary on earlier this month has died as a result of injuries.

Sheena Bhimji, 27, from Conrich, was rushed to hospital with serious, life-threatening injuries after reports a shooting in the Meadow Ridge area on Jan. 8.

A medical examiner has since declared it a homicide and RCMP Major Crimes is involved in the investigation.

Mounties are urging anyone with information to come forward.
