During peak times trains will run every seven to eight minutes on the red line and eight minutes on the blue line.
Trains on the blue line will also run every 16 minutes during the non-peak hours.
Meanwhile, mid-day service on the red line will run every 15 minutes while evening service will be every 16 minutes.
Earlier this week, Calgary Transit also implemented new rules for bus riders, requiring passengers to enter at the rear doors.
Transit asks all riders with a single-use ticket to rip up the ticket once they board the bud. It is also asking customers to purchase tickets from machines when possible.
