Police searching for suspect in armed robbery in Aspen Woods

CALGARY (660 NEWS) – Calgary police are searching for a suspect in an armed robbery in Aspen Woods.
Police were called to the RBC branch on Aspen Glen Landing SW, on March 30 around 12:50 a.m.
Guards of an armoured truck were outside the bank and when they were confronted by an unknown man who demanded money.
After saying their truck was empty, the suspect continued to make demands and injured one of the guards.

The man then left on foot heading north on 85 Street SW.
Police believe the man is around 35 to 40 years old and at the time of the robbery his face was disguised with a dark-coloured mask and he was wearing a black, over-sized jacket, black boots, black gloves, and had a white, grey and black scarf around his neck.
Investigators are asking anyone who may have seen something suspicious around 85 Street SW at that time to come forward.
