CALGARY (660 NEWS) – Calgary police have arrested one suspect and are still looking for another after a shooting in Eau Claire.
Earlier this month, police issued warrants for two men, Mehdi Al Khouzaii and Mahad Sayid Haji Barakobe in connection with the shooting death of a 29-year-old man on June 5.
Police found the body of Benjamin Virtucio in an underground parkade in Eau Claire market after responding to reports of gunshots.
One suspect was arrested the following day in Airdrie and police began searching for two other suspects and a vehicle which was later found.
Police have since arrested Al Khouzaii, but are still looking for Barakobe who is wanted for second-degree murder.
If you have any information as to where he might be, you’re asked to call Calgary police or Crime Stoppers.
