Support Our Students (SOS) Alberta has set up a COVID-19 tracker to have all the information in one place for parents.

“It is also to keep the government accountable because we’re getting a lot of conflicting messages from the government leaders,” said SOS communications director Wing Li.

“We just want to make sure that we are staying on top of the reality of the situation as it unfolds.”
Li adds that even though we are only at the start of kids going back to school, some schools are delaying reopening due to positive cases.
SOS says some parents are concerned about reopening as there have already been some positive cases in schools during the first week.
