Wildfire north of Canmore grows overnight

CANMORE (660 NEWS) – Firefighters continue to battle an out-of-control wildfire north of Canmore.
The blaze, which was first spotted Friday night, is not threatening any homes or property.
Officials say as of Sunday evening, the fire has reached 676 hectares in size.
Albertans may see extra smoke in the region due to helicopters dropping buckets of water on the fire.
Alberta Wildfire officials say there are no evacuation orders in place, however that could change depending on the weather.
