CALGARY (660 NEWS) – A major piece of roadwork in the city is almost finished.
The City of Calgary announced Tuesday all major upgrades involved in the short-term improvements phase of the Crowchild Trail project are now complete.
The new lanes are open and the city said traffic flow has been improved over the Bow River.
The City said there is still some landscaping and cleaning to do on the road.
Construction on the project began in Oct. 2017 and included upgrades to Crowchild Trail near 5 Ave. N.W. through Kensington Road and Memorial Drive to 16 Ave. N.W.
