CALGARY (660 NEWS) – Another member of City Council has announced he will run again in the 2021 election.
Ward 4 Councillor Sean Chu made the announcement on his Twitter page Tuesday morning.
With the Election a year away, I wanted to let everyone know that I will be seeking another term to represent the amazing residents of #Ward4 at City Hall. I will be working hard to once again earn the trust of residents and be their voice at #yyccc #yyc #ableg #yycvotes2021

Chu was first elected to council in 2013 and spent over 20 years with the Calgary Police Service before that.
So far, only one other councillor has announced his intention to run in the next civic election.
Last month Ward 11’s Jeromy Farkas said he plans to run for Mayor of Calgary, while other candidates have come forward to run in Ward 2 and 11.
