CALGARY (660 NEWS) – RCMP are investigating after “suspicious” food items were found in Airdrie, Alta., on Saturday.
Airdrie RCMP say strange balls of raw meat and rice were located on four corners of various intersections in the neighbourhood of Ravenswood.
Also found next to the meat were one-dollar coins.
Police say they are “unsure” why the raw food and loonies were left behind. They are warning people to keep their pets in their yard or on a leash in an abundance of caution.
RCMP are also advising those with young children to be cautious.
