Man dies after heavy object falls on him

CALGARY (660 NEWS) – A man has died after a heavy object fell on him in the northeast.
Paramedics confirmed the man in his 40s was on Whiteram Way N.E. when the object fell around 8:45 Wednesday morning.
Few details are known as to what led to the event or what the heavy object was.
They say the man was dead before emergency crews arrived.
EMS, Calgary police and Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) are investigating.
