Police seek witnesses after man hit by transit bus at Dalhousie station

CALGARY (660 NEWS) — Calgary police are hoping to speak to anyone who may have witnessed a pedestrian collision in Calgary’s northwest on Sunday night.

Around 9:35 p.m., police say a City of Calgary transit bus was driving through the bus loop at the Dalhousie CTrain station when a man, who was crossing the road at the time, was hit by the bus.

The 60-year-old was taken to hospital and his condition has since deteriorated and is now in life-threatening condition.

Police say speeding and impaired driving are not considered factors in the collision.

Anyone who may have witnessed the collision is being asked to contact police.
