CALGARY — Alberta identified 127 new cases of COVID-19 over the last day.
The updated numbers come after the completion of more than 4,000 tests.
Alberta’s daily case count has continued to decline over the last several weeks, with Monday’s numbers being the lowest number of cases the province has seen since Sept. 2020.

There are now 4,707 active cases of COVID-19 in Alberta.
Hospitalizations decreased slightly to 351, with 94 people now in the ICU.
Two additional deaths were reported on Monday.
Over the last 24 hours, more than 25,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccine were administered in the province.
Alberta is now approaching 67 per cent of the eligible population being vaccinated — which would put the province just three per cent away from triggering the two-week timer for entering Stage 3 of Alberta’s reopening plan.
