Man wanted for random attack on father, son turns himself in

A 27-year-old man has turned himself into police after attacking an 18-year-old and being part of the attack on his dad while they walked in Eau Claire in May.

CALGARY – A man wanted in connection to a random attack on a father and son has turned himself in to police.

Back on May 14, a 47-year-old man and his 18-year-old son were walking along Barclay Walk SW when they came across a group of people “causing a disturbance” on the pathway.

According to police, a brief conversation ensued with the group, and the father and son duo were attacked.

Officers said one of the people in the group punched the 18-year-old repeatedly in the face and locked him to the ground.
