Police looking for 4 men in pot shop robbery

CALGARY – Calgary police are looking for four men after a local cannabis store was robbed by armed attackers earlier this week.

Officers say shortly before 10 p.m. on Wednesday, the group of men walked into the Co-op Cannabis store in Dalhousie.

Three of the four men were armed with a taser, a gun, and a baton.

Police believe that while the men were clearing out the store’s supply, the gun may have accidentally gone off, causing the group to take off.

The getaway car is thought to be a 2009 GMC envoy.

CCTV pictures of the men involved and suspect descriptions have been released in hopes someone from the public might recognize them.

The first suspect was wearing a black Adidas jacket with the hood up over a white baseball cap, black pants, blue Under Armour gloves, a black facemask, and black sunglasses. Police say he may have been wearing a nose ring.

The second was wearing a black hoodie with a large ‘7’ design with ‘New York’ on it, black pants, black and red sneakers, and a blue facemask.

Suspect number three was wearing a black hoodie with a circle design, black shoes, white pants, and a black balaclava.

The last man was wearing a black hoodie, a brown Burberry-style scarf around his neck, and a black facemask.

Anyone with information can call police or submit an anonymous tip via Crime Stoppers.
