Man wanted on sex assault charges in drive-by groping case

CALGARY – Calgary police are hunting for a suspect in a drive-by groping case.

They say a man would ride his bike up to women, grope them, and then take off.

It happened at least a few times downtown at 5 Ave. and 9 Street SW, but police believe there may be other incidents.

Richard Catholique, 31, is charged with sexual assault and is wanted on two warrants.

Catholique is about 6’1″, 132 pounds with a medium or slim build. he has brown hair and brown eyes.

Police believe he was riding a black and white CCM bike with a medium frame, and blue brake cables.

Anyone with information can call police or submit an anonymous tip via Crime Stoppers.
