Woman arrested for impaired driving following deadly crash north of Calgary

CREMONA, Alta – Mounties confirm a woman has been arrested for impaired driving after a crash north of Calgary Sunday night killed a motorcyclist and injured another.
Police say a pickup truck was attempting to pass another vehicle on Highway 22 near Cremona, when it lost control, struck an SUV, then rolled several times into oncoming traffic, and hit the two motorcycles.

A 43-year-old man from Mountain View County died on scene, while a woman on the other bike suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say the 25-year-old driver of the pickup was located and taken into custody, and also brought to hospital for treatment.
