Rainfall warning issued for Canmore, Okotoks areas

CALGARY  – A rainfall warning has been issued for communities south and west of Calgary.

Environment Canada warns heavy rainfall is expected to roll through Kananaskis, Canmore, Okotoks, and High River Monday afternoon, letting loose up to 70mm of water.

RELATED:

Most communities in the area can expect at least 40-50mm of rain to fall.

The weather agency warns that the heavy rain can cause flash flooding and water to pool on roadways in some areas.
