Wildfire burning west of Calgary extinguished

CANMORE – A wildfire burning west of Calgary is considered to be extinguished, according to firefighters working to contain it.

Canmore Fire and Rescue says on Twitter that crews have sufficiently doused the blaze near Dead Mans’ Flats.

The emergency group says crews have been pulled from the fire now that it’s been put out.
