Calgary Transit to launch service to Chestermere Monday

CHESTERMERE – A transit link between Calgary and Chestermere is launching on Monday.

This is the first time Calgary Transit will be providing fixed service to a neighbouring municipality.

A celebration of the new route will also be happening on Monday with Chestermere Mayor Marshall Chalmers, Calgary Mayor Naheed Nenshi, and transit representatives.

They’ll be releasing more details about fares and schedules at the event next week.
