Alberta woman, 25, facing several charges in fatal June crash

DIDSBURY, Alta. – A young central Alberta woman faces a long list of charges after a fatal multi-vehicle crash earlier this summer.
The June 27 crash on Highway 22 in Mountain View County killed a 43-year-old motorcyclist from Airdrie and injured a woman riding another motorbike.

It also injured a woman in an SUV.
Didsbury RCMP says the driver of a pickup involved in the crash left the scene, but was tracked down by police and taken to hospital.

They have now laid several charges against the 25-year-old, including impaired driving, failing to stop at a crash, and dangerous driving.
Her next court date is scheduled for Sept. 20.
