MRU to resume in-person learning Monday

CALGARY (CityNews) – Mount Royal University will be returning to in-person classes on Monday.

The post-secondary confirmed the move in a statement Thursday evening, saying it will adopt the province’s Restrictions Exemption Program.

Following the provincial government’s announcement to reintroduce public health measures, MRU was one of eight post-secondary institutions to pause in-person learning Thursday morning.

The university said in a statement all staff and students that want to go to the campus must meet the Restrictions Exemption Program requirements.

Classes will remain closed on Friday, and students will be able to find more info on the school’s website.
