Toddler death in Calgary deemed suspicious

CALGARY (660 NEWS) – Calgary police are questioning two people after an 18-month-old boy died at a home in the southeast area of the city.
At about 11:20 a.m. Tuesday, emergency crews were called to the home in Radisson Heights for reports of a toddler in medical distress.
The child was found unresponsive, and paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene. Police say the death is considered suspicious.
Police say the area of 28 St. and 14 Ave. was then blocked off and investigators have been questioning two adults.
Investigators are also interviewing witnesses and collecting surveillance footage.

An autopsy will be done on Wednesday.
