Calgary police seek suspect in downtown sexual assault

CALGARY — Calgary police are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in a sexual assault outside the CORE Shopping Centre.
The incident occurred on Sept. 4, at 6 p.m. at the LRT station along 3 Street SW.
An unknown man approached a group of people and began shouting obscenities at them.
It’s believed the man then approached a woman in the group, sexually assaulted her, and walked away.
Police describe the suspect as being 5’9″ tall, between 25 and 30 years of age with a heavy build and a goatee.
He wore a black shirt with a white logo on the front and back, jeans, and black Converse shoes with white soles.
