4 Ave. flyover open after weekend closure for filming

A closure on Calgary’s 4 Avenue flyover has ended and traffic on the artery into downtown is once again flowing freely.

The ramp that leads into the core from Memorial Drive was slated to reopen ahead of rush hour, but the closure was extended to last until Tuesday morning.

The closure, which began on Friday and lasted through the weekend, was to allow a film crew to work on a production being shot in Calgary.
The City of Calgary says filming wrapped up on Monday morning, so the closure planned for Monday night into Tuesday morning is no longer needed.
