Alberta to wait on expanding eligibility for third doses of COVID vaccine

While British Columbia has announced it will offer third doses of COVID-19 vaccine to the general public next year, Alberta has made the decision to wait a little longer.
Dr. Deena Hinshaw said in a live update on Tuesday that the province is waiting on further evidence from the National Advisory Committee on Immunization (NACI).
“And then we’ll be discussing that with our Alberta Advisory Committee, and again, wanting to make sure that we’re following the best emerging evidence and the available information on boosters,” said Hinshaw.
