One in custody after stabbing at Marlborough CTrain Station

One man is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after a stabbing in Calgary’s northeast on Wednesday.

Around 1:30 p.m., police were called to the Marlborough CTrain Station at 36 St. and Marlborough Dr. NE after reports of a man being assaulted.
When police arrived they found one man with stab wounds and he was promptly transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Officers searched the area and found the man they believe to be responsible and took him into custody.
The area of 36 St., between 5 Ave. and 12 Ave. NE has been temporarily closed while police investigate.
Trains will continue to run through Marlborough Station but the stop will remain closed for the time being.
