Man rushed to hospital after stabbing at NW CTrain station

One man was rushed to hospital on Tuesday afternoon after a stabbing at a northwest Calgary CTrain station.
Emergency crews were called to the Lions Park Station, beside North Hill Mall, and found a man suffering from a stab wound.
He was transported to hospital in serious, but stable condition.
Calgary police closed the station while an investigation took place, but it has since reopened.

There is no word on if a suspect has been located.
This incident comes just over two weeks after a similar incident in the northeast quadrant of the city.
On Oct. 27, a 51-year-old man succumbed to his injuries in hospital after being stabbed at the Marlborough CTrain station.

In that case, the suspect was found not long after the incident, and manslaughter charges have since been laid.
