Chilliwack’s Bill Henderson reflects on band’s past, present and future

Chilliwack is one of the most enduring and beloved classic rock bands in Canadian music history.

Lead singer Bill Henderson has been there from the beginning back in 1970 and even before that with The Collectors, one of the first bands to ever make it big out of Vancouver.

Chilliwack has had numerous hits throughout the 70s and 80s and are still touring as much as they can today but Henderson took some time to talk with Todd Kaufman…

Henderson is a member of the Order of Canada and along with Brian ‘Too Loud’ Macleod won a Juno for Best Producer for the 1982 Chilliwack album ‘Opus X.’

In 2019, Chilliwack was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame.

Henderson says they expect to have a Calgary stop on their next tour sometime in 2022.
