One dead in shooting outside SE Calgary store

One man is dead after what police believe is a ‘targetted shooting’ in Calgary’s southeast on Monday night.
Around 7:10 p.m., Calgary police were called to a store along 28 Street SE for reports of a man who had been shot.
The man was declared dead on scene. No other injuries were reported.
Investigators from the Homicide Unit are working to try and find as much information as possible and attain a suspect description.
“The first hours of any homicide investigation are critical for gathering as much information as we can to lead to a swift apprehension of the person, or persons, responsible,” said Staff Sgt. Martin Schiavetta in a release.
