Woman suffers critical injuries in pedestrian-involved crash in the northwest

A woman in her 40s has been rushed to a Calgary hospital with critical injuries after being struck by a vehicle in the city’s northwest.
The crash occurring on Country Hills Blvd. north of 112 Ave. Tuesday just after 9 p.m.

Police say the driver remained on scene.
No word on whether charges could be laid.
Road closures in the area are expected to remain for some time with investigators on scene.
