RCMP in Airdrie are investigating an armed robbery at Genesis Place over the weekend.
Shortly before 7 p.m. on Saturday, two people exited from a white four-door Mazda, walked up to the recreation centre, and attacked a man standing right outside the pool entrance.
Police say the two suspects threw the man to the ground, punched him, and then sprayed him with bear spray. Then, they allegedly stole his wallet and fled the scene in the car.
The vehicle itself was driven by a woman with brown hair and also had a second woman in the car.
