Calgary’s Ukrainian community holds candlelight vigil at Peace Bridge
The city’s Ukrainian community is holding a silent vigil Thursday to mark one month since the invasion of Ukraine began.
The president of the local branch of the Ukrainian Canadian Congress, Inna Platonova Ph.D., says they will gather to remember victims of the invasion of Ukraine which began a month ago.
She says it’s being held at 7 p.m. at the Peace Bridge.

Those planning to attend are asked to bring candles and a plush toy to leave at the vigil to remember the victims of the war.
