Southeast Calgary crash leaves one person with life-threatening injuries

One person was taken to hospital in life-threatening condition on Tuesday afternoon after being hit by a car in the southeast Calgary community of Inglewood.

The collision happened at 19 Street and 9 Avenue SE around 2:15 p.m., according to Calgary police.

Police say the driver did remain on scene.

Roads in the area were closed while police investigated, but have since reopened.
