Serious crash near Okotoks leaves one dead, two injured

One person is dead and two others were injured after a crash west of Okotoks on Highway 7 Wednesday.

The crash happened shortly before 1 p.m. on a stretch of highway between Okotoks and Black Diamond.

According to EMS, one person was pronounced dead at the scene. The two other people were rushed to Foothills Hospital in serious condition.

Their injuries are not considered life-threatening.
