It was like a scene out of The Godfather, except it was not in a bed and not real.
A Calgary man is facing charges after a fake horse’s head was found on what sources have confirmed to CityNews is Mayor Jyoti Gondek’s driveway in April.
Police say around 3:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 19, a man went to a home in northwest Calgary and placed an anti-vaccine sticker on the front door. The person is said to have then left a latex costume of a horse’s head on the front driveway.

According to CPS, the man drove up and down the street, revving his vehicle’s engine and causing skid marks for about 300 ft. along the road.
Although the person living at the home did not realize what had happened, someone who came to the house the next morning saw the fake horse head and called police.
Officers say they used doorbell camera footage to identify the vehicle and the person who was driving it.
A 43-year-old Calgary man has been charged with criminal harassment and stunting in a motor vehicle in relation to the incident.
Police say doing what this man is alleged to have done, and for someone to feel unsafe in their own home, is when the charge of criminal harassment comes into play.
The mayor’s office has declined to comment.
