For the first time in a couple of years, all 20 of Alberta’s historic destination sites will reopen to visitors.
Alberta is kicking off the summer season with special programming, events, and activities that teach you about the province’s heritage.
The province is launching the “Experience Alberta’s History Pass,” which offers Albertans a way to visit all sites an unlimited number of times in one year.
It will be available starting May 18.
“From north to south, from Fort McMurray’s Oil Sands Discovery Centre to Drumheller’s Royal Tyrrell Museum of Palaeontology – you don’t have to travel far to discover something of interest in our beautiful province,” said Ron Orr, Minister of Culture
Featured historic sites and museums include Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump, Remington Carriage Museum, Royal Alberta Museum, Royal Tyrrell Museum, Rutherford House, and more.
