Calgary police charge man with possession of firearms, drugs after months-long investigation

Calgary police have made an arrest after an eight-month-long investigation into a suspected drug trafficking operation.

During the bust, Calgary police made one arrest and found more than $100,000 worth of drugs.

CPS officers raided a home on 26 Avenue Southwest in the community of Mission, seizing a loaded semi-automatic pistol, ammunition, and at least $115,000 worth of drugs.

They found crack cocaine, powder cocaine, meth, and fentanyl along with several thousand dollars in cash.

A 25-year-old man faces numerous trafficking and weapons charges.
