Calgary woman assaulted at knifepoint robbery attempt in Hidden Valley

Calgary police are looking for a man believed to be involved in a random knifepoint robbery in the Northwest last Wednesday.
Around 10:35 a.m. on June 1, a woman walking in Hidden Valley says an unknown man grabbed her and held a knife to her throat while demanding money.
She was able to break free and get to safety but did suffer minor injuries in the assault.
Police are looking for anyone who was in the area around Hidden Ranch Circle and Hidden Valley Drive on the day of the incident between 10:15 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.
CPS say the area has seen an increase in patrols since the robbery.
Calgary police have released a description of a suspect who is described as being between 35 and 40-years-old, having a medium build, is clean-shaven and bald, and was wearing dark pants and a black puffy jacket.
