Calgary career fair brings potential opportunities for job seekers

The annual Calgary Career Fair and Training Expo takes place Monday at the Telus Convention Centre.

More than 40 exhibitors will be at the event including various colleges, universities, and energy companies. The Calgary Police Service will also have a kiosk.

The goal of the career fair is to connect prospective employees with hiring managers for positions in Calgary.

The multiple post-secondary schools in attendance are there to promote new career paths, or ways to learn new skills through certifications and diplomas.
