Man dies in single vehicle crash in northwest

A middle-aged man has been killed in a single-vehicle crash in the city’s northwest.
Police say the crash occurred Thursday around 5:40 p.m. on southbound Stoney Trail at Crowchild Trail.
A number of delays were reported during the afternoon rush as a result, especially on the off-ramps from southbound Stoney Trail and westbound Crowchild Trail onto Tuscany Boulevard and Scenic Acres Link.

Police say they’re still in the process of notifying next of kin.
The cause of the crash has not been released.
