Warrant issued for Lethbridge man who allegedly tasered, shot victim with BB gun

Lethbridge police have issued a warrant for the arrest of a 39-year-old man, and they’re asking for the public’s help to find him.

Police say the suspect is believed to have been involved in tasering and using a BB gun to shoot a 29-year-old man.

Police say two people who knew each other had an argument on Thursday at an apartment on 10 A Avenue South near 18 Street South.

The argument allegedly escalated until the suspect tasered the victim and shot him multiple times.

Police say the victim was taken to hospital.

The suspect managed to escape before police arrived.
