Calgary Stampede: Where to get a pancake breakfast

Pancake breakfasts are an 85-year-old tradition during the Calgary Stampede, and if you play your cards right, you can get yourself free food almost every day during the 10-day festival.

The Calgary Stampede Caravan is the official pancake breakfast provider that travels the city serving up free pancakes, sausage, and juice, as well as providing entertainment.

Here are all of the Caravan’s breakfast locations, all times are from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.:

July 12:

• Market Mall Shopping Centre
• Coventry Hills Centre

July 13:

• Dalhousie Station and Shopping Centre
• Southcentre Shopping Centre (The Pink Pancake Stampede Breakfast in support of Run for the Cure)

July 14:

• McKenzie Towne Hall
• Deerfoot City Shopping Centre

July 15:

• The Genesis Centre

July 16

• Deer Valley Shopping Centre
• Township Shopping Centre

A Caravan breakfast includes free food, indigenous hoop dancing, and appearances from the Stampede Queen and Princesses, Rodeo cowboys, and mascots.
