A second official debate is set to take place in Edmonton on Aug. 30 at the Maclab Theatre in the Citadel.
The leadership race was triggered by current UCP Leader and Alberta Premier Jason Kenney’s decision to step down.
Kenney made the announcement in May following a leadership review, which he narrowly won.
The deadline for Albertans to join the UCP membership is Aug. 12.
The leadership election set for Oct. 6.
