A minivan crashed into the patio of downtown Calgary’s Bottlescrew Bill’s Pub, destroying a section of the outdoor seating area.
Police say it happened at around 10:40 a.m. Thursday at 10 Avenue and 1 Street southwest when a minivan careened into planters and picnic tables outside the pub.
Officers were called to the area for reports of a two-vehicle crash which led the minivan to veer onto the sidewalk and into the patio.
The pub says that they weren’t open so no one was sitting or walking by in the area at the time of the incident.
Details are scarce as police are trying to figure out what lead to the crash. No injuries were reported.
