Fire crews put out 2-alarm fire in Calgary’s Cougar Ridge

Fire crews were called to a home in the community of Cougar Ridge Sunday morning after receiving reports of a structure fire and large volumes of smoke coming from a house.

Upon arrival at the home on Cougarstone Gardens S.W. near Cougarstone Circle at 3:10 a.m., firefighters proceeded to put out the working fire on the two-storey house.

Due to the fire being in the roof area of the building, a second alarm was called as fire crews doused the fire and secured any surrounding houses.
