Calgary police looking for suspect in northeast hit and run collision

Calgary police say a three-vehicle crash that took four people to the hospital Friday morning has been called a hit and run.

Investigators had closed 16 Avenue, stretching about six blocks from Centre Street to 6 Street NE, for almost 10 hours starting at 1:30 a.m.

EMS say two out of the four people taken to the hospital were in life-threatening condition.

Police are looking for the driver of a grey Dodge Charger that fled the scene.

The suspect is described as male, around 6′, with a slim build, wearing a grey jacket and dark pants.
